聚焦光子能量轉換的研究,利用半導體量子點-有機分子雜化體系,將太陽光中多個低能量光子轉換為一個高能量光子(三重態湮滅上轉換),或將一個高能量光子裂分為多個低能量激子(單重態裂分、多重激子效應)等,并探究其在光電轉換及光化學轉換中的應用。相關研究發表在J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Chem. Sci. 等雜志,引起國內外同行關注。
